A Philadelphia native, Chef Tony’s joy for cooking took root at an early age during the many hours he spent in the kitchen with his mother and grandmother. His passion for food continued to bloom as he traveled the globe as a member of the international dance and singing group Up With People.

From Australia to Mexico, to New Zealand to Canada, he experienced a variety of different foods and spices as he interacted with host families from a myriad of cultural backgrounds. It was at this time that he knew he had an affinity for food and cuisine.

After working in the culinary field for 13 years, Chef Tony formally enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts-Atlanta in 2005. After graduating magna cum laude with perfect attendance, Chef Tony honed his skills as a classically trained chef at the renowned Cherokee Town & Country Club where he worked diligently under the tutelage of Certified Master Chef Kevin Walker.

He continued to flourish his skills as the Executive Chef for Café 458’s Weekend Brunch and Executive Chef for 180 degrees kitchen Culinary Arts program at the City of Refuge in Atlanta GA where he had the honor to cook side by side with then White House Executive Chef Walter Scheib.

Throughout his culinary career, Chef Tony served as personal chef to a host of celebrities in the sports and entertainment arena such as former 3-time Super Bowl Champion Rodney Harrison, former Wide Receiver Joe Horn, former Point Guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers Eric Snow and 2-time Super Bowl Champion Tony Jones just to name a few. As a result of his rapid and numerous culinary successes, Chef Tony was among the first profiled for Le Cordon Bleu Schools North America Alumni success story.

In early 2015 he showcased his culinary skills on the Food Network’s Guy’s Grocery Games, a competition show hosted by celebrity chef Guy Fieri where four chefs compete to win a $20,000 grand prize. Chef Tony utilized this platform to share his story of how he overcame homelessness and how he shed over 100 lbs. to better his health. He dedicates his free time to inspire and encourage inner city youths with his story.

With over 28 years of culinary experience Chef Tony continues to excel as a leader in his industry as a corporate executive chef and restaurant consultant.
